A $250,000 bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man accused of being involved in two separate robberies.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Braylon Grays, 18, with two counts of aggravated robbery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on the morning of Oct. 11, police were sent to the Sunset Village Apartments in response to a reported robbery.

West said a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) was issued for Grays’ and he was eventually located working at Kohler in Sheridan. He had ridden to Sheridan in a friend’s car and the friend gave Grant County Sheriff’s deputies permission to search the vehicle. An Air-Soft pistol that matched the description of the one used in the robbery was found in the vehicle.

West said Grays’ gave a statement to police and admitted he had gone to the apartments to sell the cellphone.

Grays was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court March 14
