A $2,500 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of pointing a gun at his girlfriend and threatening to kill her.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Keenan Taylor, 44, with aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Laquincia Smith, Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed told the court what Taylor is accused of doing.

Reed went on to explain what was in the police report but not the affidavit.

Judge Bridgforth told Reed that prosecutors could add third-degree battery based on what is contained in the police report.

Taylor was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back June 4.
