Two White Hall residents were arrested Friday on drug related allegations.

George Bradley Pickler and Kristi Lee Ballentin were taken into custody after White Hall Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at No. 7 Constitution Avenue.

During a court hearing Monday, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed read from an affidavit by White Hall Police Officer Christian Carroll to explain the allegations.

Reed said Ballentin has a pending case in Jefferson County Court while Pickler has a previous conviction. Because of the pending case, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $5,000 cash only bond for Ballentin and a $25,000 bond for Pickler after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

They were told to come back to court June 4.
