A reported domestic disturbance Sunday resulted in the arrest of a Pine Bluff man who allegedly injured his mother during an altercation.

Kevin Parks, 47, was taken into custody after police responded to the reported disturbance at a house on South Juniper Street.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Mike Merritt, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegation against Parks.

West said Parks has prior felony convictions, but they were more than 20 years old.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Parks after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with first-degree terroristic threatening. He was ordered to have no contact with his mother and told to come back to court Jan. 30.
