A $100,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man on multiple drug and weapons charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge James Stith, 35, with three counts of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver ecstasy, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver marijuana, three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, one count of distribution near certain facilities, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of manufacturing a controlled substance marijuana.

Reading from an affidavit by Vice and Narcotics Detective Kevin Kirk, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Wednesday in the afternoon, Pine Bluff Police Vice and Narcotics Detectives and the Tri-County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a house on West 15th Avenue owned by Stith.

West went on to say that investigators also found scales and calibration devices.

Stith was told to come back to court June 3 and said he would hire his own attorney.
