A reported criminal mischief at an apartment on Olive Street Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a woman who allegedly ran into an apartment and beat a male who is the father of her child.

During a court hearing Friday, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said Alexis Brewer, 20, was one of three people interviewed by police.

Hunter said when Brewer was arrested, she admitted to entering the apartment, hitting the man, and busting his windshield.

Lincoln County District Judge Phillip Green, who was sitting in for Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Brewer Friday after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with residential burglary.

Brewer was also issued citations for misdemeanor domestic battery and criminal mischief. She was ordered to have no contact with the victims until the case is settled and said she would hire her own attorney.
