A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly pointed a gun at another person.

Joann Ishmon, 55, was taken into custody after police responded to a reported armed disturbance on Florida Street, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said during a court hearing Monday.

Alexander said Ishmon has a prior conviction for second-degree battery in 2004.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $50,000 bond for Ishmon after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with aggravated assault. She was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 24
