A Mayflower man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in rural Pulaski County Saturday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report, Tony Oaks, 66, was southbound on Arkansas Highway 113 at the Pulaski-Perry Count line and while negotiating a curve, the 2006 Harley Davidson he was riding ran off the roadway to the right and struck a ditch. He was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 11:10 a.m. and the death was the 406th so far this year on the state’s highways.
