A $10,000 bond was set Thursday for a man accused of driving a stolen vehicle.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Bobby McReynolds, 65, with theft by receiving and with possession of a controlled substance because McReynolds had a pill bottle containing a controlled substance when he was arrested.

Reading from an affidavit from Redfield Police Detective Terri Patterson, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Tuesday, Redfield Police reported seeing a Mercedes Benz that had been reported stolen traveling on Sheridan Road.

Alexander said McReynolds has an extensive criminal history with multiple felony convictions in Pulaski County.

He was told to come back to court Feb. 8.
