A Lincoln County woman was killed and three people were injured Tuesday night in a two-vehicle accident in Drew County.

Summer Thomas, 24, of Gould died after the westbound 2003 Saturn Ion in which she was a passenger failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of Arkansas 138 and U.S. 65 in Winchester. The car struck the trailer of a Freightliner traveling south on U.S. 65, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report.

The driver of Freightliner, the driver of the Saturn, and a minor riding in the Saturn were all injured and transported to Delta Memorial Hospital, according to the report.

The crash occurred at 10:34 p.m. The weather and road conditions were clear.

At least 353 people have been killed on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
