A $5,000 cash only bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man accused of attempting to steal a vehicle belonging to a funeral home.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Eric Jackson, 45, with breaking or entering.

Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Tuesday afternoon, police were sent to Paradise Funeral Home to investigate a report that someone was attempting to steal a vehicle.

West said Jackson is currently out on bond on a charge of residential burglary. He was told to come back to court March 7.
