A $5k bond was set for a Pine Bluff woman accused of chasing juveniles with a knife

A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Friday after she was accused of chasing two juveniles with a knife.

Nickie Grigsby, 52, was taken into custody after police were sent ot the area of West 21st and Hickory Street at 5:02 p.m.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Dante Nicholson, Chie Deputy Prosecutor Karres Manning explained what Grigsby was accused of doing.

Police located Grigsby in the area and when they asked if she had a knife, she dropped the knife on the ground and was taken into custody.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $5,000 bond for Grigsby after ruling prosecutors have probable cause ot charg her with two counts of aggravated assault on a family or household member and terroristic threatening.

She was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court April 8.
