A Pine Bluff man who was released from Jefferson Hospital Thursday was arrested later than day after he allegedly stole a vehicle from the parking lot.

Tyler Brown, 23, was taken into custody after he was found with the vehicle at a convenience store in the Dollarway area.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said police were sent to the hospital for a stolen vehicle report.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Brown Friday after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with theft of property. He was told to come back to court March 15.
