A $2,500 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of threatening to kill relatives Friday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Samuel Wilson, 49, with terroristic threatening.

During the court hearing, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed explained the allegation against Wilson.

Reed said police were unable to locate a gun and when Wilson was questioned, he denied having a gun and threatening people.

Wilson was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court May 3.
