A $15,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Wabbaseka man accused if pointing a gun at two other people.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ronald Smith, 60, with aggravated assault.

Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s Investigator Rodney Allen, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said on Monday at 12:57 p.m., deputies were sent to a house on Mulberry Street in Wabbaskea in response to a reported armed disturbance that began as a threat report.

Smith was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court April 30.
