A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of hitting her sister during an altercation Monday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dayneisha Goins, 33, with second offense third-degree battery, a felony.

Deputy prosecutor Brittaney Akel told the court Goins pleaded no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery on Sept. 17, 2022.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, Akel said Monday at 2:50 p.m., police were sent to an apartment on South Blake Street in response to a reported home invasion.

Goins was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court March 6.
