A Pine Bluff man was arrested Monday after he was involved in an altercation with a pregnant woman.

Jalen Cole, 20, was taken into custody after police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence on West 28th Avenue Monday at 3:30 p.m.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Dante Nicholson, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel explained what Cole is accused of doing.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Cole after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with second-degree domestic battery. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court April 30.
