A $100,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and weapons related charges. Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kalan Gardener, 20, with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor and selling drugs in a drug free zone.

Reading from an affidavit by Vice and Narcotics Detective Kevin Kirk, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said at 12:49 p.m. Thursday, vice and narcotics detectives and the Tri-County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 1605 S. Missouri St.

Reed said officers then began the search and told the court what they found.

Kirk reported that the total weight of the suspected marijuana was 5.7 pound.

Gardner was told to come back to court April 26.
