$75k bond set for Pine Bluff man accused of robbing another man in September

A $75,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of robbing another man in September.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ashanion Jordan, 20, with aggravated robbery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said on Sept. 24, police were sent to the Akins Apartments on South Main Street in response to a reported robbery.

Akel said on Oct. 21, police were sent back to the apartments.

Jordan was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court On Nov. 28, 2023.
