A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of stealing cash from Walmart while working there.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Alexandria Jones, 24, with theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said at about 1 p.m. Friday, police were sent to Walmart on South Olive Street in response to a reported theft.

Jones said she would hire her own attorney and was told to come back to court Dec. 18th.
