A $50,000 bond was set Friday for a man accused of robbing another man on Thursday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Devonta Reed, 26, with aggravated robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Reading from an affidavit from Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained what Reed is accused of.
Reed said he would hire his own attorney and was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
