A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend.

Shakiyla Hart, 31, was taken into custody after police were sent to an apartment at 1600 Brentwood Drive in response to a reported stabbing.

During a court hearing Tuesday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the circumstances that led to the arrest.

Detective Corey Wilfong reported in an affidavit that the victim was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital and said Hart had no visible injuries.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for Hart after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with first-degree domestic battery. She was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Dec. 27.
