A $25,000 set for a Pine Bluff man accused of driving a stolen vehicle and fleeing from police.

Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson reported the probable cause affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin that states officers were patrolling on June 11th at approximately 4:30 pm and spotted a white Toyota that was reported stolen earlier that morning.

Carson went to explain what happened next.

Jarvis Walters 22, also has a previous criminal history and was in court in May for the ramification of his probation.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge Walters with theft by receiving and fleeing. Walters was told to return to court on July 18th and a public defender was appointed to represent him.
