An investigation into a homicide in the early morning hours Saturday resulted in the arrest of a female juvenile who allegedly dropped off the victim near the site of the shooting to retaliate for a person pulling a gun on the girl.

Morgan Leon, 17, is being charged as an adult with capital murder in the death of the juvenile male, whose name is not being released.

Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said during a court hearing that about 4 a.m., police responded to the area of 3600 East Lake Drive where they found a male lying in the grass about 50 feet from the road with a gunshot wound. The male was pronounced dead at the scene. Offices also found a gun lying in the roadway and a second gun nearby.

Alexander said Leon then went on to say this.

The second male found with a gunshot wound was identified as Archillias Glover, 18, who was treated for a gunshot wound at Jefferson Regional Hospital and later released. He is being held on a $150,000 bond on probable cause of criminal use of a prohibited weapon, conspiracy to commit capital murder and violation of the machine gun act because the gun Glover was carrying had a Glock switch to convert it to full automatic.
