A $10,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of injuring a police officer during an altercation Sunday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Lori Martin-Fair, 60, with second-degree battery on a law enforcement officer.

Reading from an affidavit by Police Detective Corey Wilfong, Deput Prosecutor Joe West said Sunday evening, Officer Julie Hilliard was sent to a residence on West 24th Avenue in response to a reported domestic situation.

Wilfong reported that Martin-Fair and Hilliard continued to struggle and both fell to the ground.

Martin-Fair was told to come back to court Dec. 27 and Pine Bluff attorney William Howard told Kearney he had been hired to represent Martin-Fair.
