A $10,000 bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man accused of allegedly stabbing his girlfriend Wednesday afternoon during an altercation.

Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgeforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kedrek Lasley 27, with 2nd-degree domestic battery.

Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson read the affidavit written by Det. Keith Banks and stated that police were dispatched to W. 36th Avenue in response to a reported stabbing. Carson explained what happened once the officers arrived.

She went to explain what Lasley said during his interview with officers.

The victim was treated by EASI and was released after the incident. Carson stated that Lasley has no criminal history.

A no-contact order was granted for the victim and Lasley was told to come back to court on August 3rd. He said he would hire his own attorney.
