A woman accused of shoplifting at a White Hall store on Friday will also face drug related accusations after her arrest.

Angela Woolfolk was taken into custody after White Hall Police stopped a vehicle that she was riding in when it left Brookshire’s on Dollarway Road, Police Investigator Clayton Cantrell said in a probable cause affidavit presented in court Monday.

Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said White Hall Police Chief Greg Shapiro and other officers were given the description of a truck Woolfolk had gotten into and Shapiro stopped the truck, which pulled into the car wash.

Carson said the items taken from the store were valued at $188.99 and they were returned to Brookshire’s.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Woolfolk after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was told to come back to court March 8.
