UAPB Women Hoops Davenport Earns SWAC Weekly Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Maori Davenport for SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors for her phenomenal performances during the opening week of the season.

Impact Player of the Week
Davenport contributed significantly for the Lady Golden Lions as the program opened its season against Arkansas and Little Rock. Against Arkansas, Davenport recorded a double-double with 15 points, 14 rebounds, three steals, two blocks, and two assists. In two games she had a total of 22 rebounds, 20 points, six blocks, four assists, and three steals.
