An elderly man was injured and two women were arrested Thursday after a reported altercation on East 21st Street in Pine Bluff.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Candice Dixon and Nautica Willingham were arrested after the victim, who is over the age of 60 said they had assaulted him.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, West explained what the two women are accused of.

West said Willingham has no prior convictions or pending charges but Dixon is on probation on a charge of aggravated assault. Because of that, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 cash only bond for Dixon and a $10,000 secured bond for Willingham after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with second-degree domestic battery.

They were ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court March 1.
