Two Pine Bluff residents were arrested Wednesday in connection with an incident that occurred Monday on East Lake Drive.

Alannia Bass, 18, and Trayveonshay Cannon, 20, were taken into custody after police found them in a vehicle at 15th Avene and Poplar Street and found an AR-style rifle in the back seat.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said police were sent to a residence on East Lake Drive in the evening Monday in response to a reported domestic incident.

Detective Jason Boykin reported that when Cannon was questioned, he admitted going to the residence but denied knocking the victim to the floor or having a gun.

West then told the court what Bass said when she was questioned.

A $25,000 bond was set for Bass and she and Cannon were ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled. They were told to come back to court Feb. 2.
