A police detective on routine patrol Tuesday arrested a male and female who were both carrying guns after seeing them trespassing at the old Dollarway High School.

India Rogers, 19, of Maumelle, and Jacob Darrough, 24, of Pine Bluff made their first court appearance Thursday in Pine Bluff District Court.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittanny Akel said Detective Dante Nicholson was on Dollarway Road near the old school when he saw three males and a female trespassing.

Akel said one of the males, later identified as Darrough, ran and was holding his torso.

Court records showed that Darrough was convicted of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms last year.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $100,000 bond for Rogers after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with possession of a machine gun and possession of a defaced firearm. A $75,000 bond was set for Darrough on probable cause of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Rogers and Darrough were told to come back to court April 11.
