A Pine Bluff man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend and threatened to kill her.

Timothy Reynolds, 39, also allegedly fired a shot inside the house the two shared in the Dollarway area.

During a court hearing Thursday, Deputy Prosecutor Caleb Conrad said an officer was sent to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of N. Haley Street and the officer spoke to Reynolds and the female victim.

Detective Corey Wilfong reported that Reynolds told the officer he wanted the woman to leave because there were people walking around and talking inside the ceiling.

The female victim said Reynolds had accused her of cheating on him with a guy at work, pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her. She said he had also dragged her off the bed which resulted in a scratch to her foot.

Conrad said Wilfong interviewed the victim and here’s what she said.

Police recovered a handgun that was inside a case in the bedroom and a shell casing that was found on a pillow.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $2,500 bond for Reynolds after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault on a family or household member. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
