A Pine Bluff man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly fired shots at another man during an altercation.

Lorell Cooper, 51, who prosecutors say has a prior felony conviction for robbery from California, will have to post a $10,000 bond to be released from the adult detention center after Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King told the court the circumstances that led to the arrest.

Cooper was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
