On Monday, the Pine Bluff School Board heard a presentation on plans for the new high school which is to be constructed at the site of the current high school on Olive Street.

District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree was asked about those plans when she was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Tuesday.

Talking about the possibility of relocating the Hardin Drain, she said the projected cost to even start that project was estimated at $3 million and the district didn’t want to consider spending that much taxpayer money to move it.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Barbaree what the district was going to do and she answered this way.

Horne then asked how many of the high school students would be going to Jack Roby under that plan.
