A talented Monticello 10 year old recently competed as part of the UTA’s (United Taekwondo Alliance) 2 day National Championships.  She not only won in multiple categories, but also solidified her spot as part of the US National Team that will be traveling to England to compete next summer.

Chloe Anderson has been training in martial arts for about 4 years and currently trains at South Arkansas Martial Arts of Monticello with Geoff Trisollini and Master Chelle Danley. Chloe is the daughter of Sharon Anderson.

Chloe tried out earlier this year and qualified as part of the South Eastern “Team USA” and has been training with the team in preparation to compete against the other regional teams at UTA Nationals.

On July 27th Chloe competed against members of the other regional teams and finished 1st overall in her age group in sparring and 2nd in Team Forms. The strong finish qualified her for a spot on the UTA National Team that will travel to England next summer to compete against other national teams from around the world.

Chloe also competed in individual National Championship events the following day finishing 1st place in both Point Sparring and Olympic Sparring. Chloe will be spending the next several months training with her instructors and team in preparation for next summer while continuing to pursue 2018 ASKC Title honors by competing in several other upcoming tournaments.

South Arkansas Martial Arts is raising funds to help Chloe pay for her l travel and training expenses to compete in England.
