Roger Totten’s UAPB SWAC Champion golf team has been selected to play in the Baton Rouge Regional in two weeks.

They will play in an NCAA Regional for the second year in a row and will join Howard University as one of only two HBCU’s to make the post season this season. The two appearances, last year and this year, are the only two in school history. Last season, the Golden Lions played in Norman, Oklahoma. Totten said “I feel so happy for this community and university. The announcement was made in front of tons of supporters at a watch party yesterday. Freshman Jose Berenguel was the Low Medalist in the SWAC tourney as well as the Freshman Low Medalist.  He was joined on the All-SWAC First team by Ismael Garcia. Totten was named the Coach Of The Year for the second straight season.
