Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth found probable cause to hold a Pine Bluff woman on a charge of terroristic threatening following a hearing this week.

According to testimony presented by prosecutors, Pine Bluff police responded to an apartment complex on Union Avenue shortly after 4:30 a.m. on June 7 in reference to a disturbance involving several individuals.

Authorities told the court that officers made contact with Alexis Lee and two other individuals following an argument inside the stairwell of the apartment complex. During the investigation, officers interviewed multiple parties and reviewed cellphone video footage allegedly recorded during the confrontation.

Prosecutors alleged that witnesses reported Lee struck one individual and threatened to shoot two people during the dispute. According to testimony, video footage reviewed by officers captured portions of the argument and included statements that formed the basis of the charge.

The state requested a $2,000 cash-only bond, noting that Lee has a pending probation revocation case in Jefferson County. Prosecutors also requested a no-contact order involving the alleged victims.

Following the hearing, the court found probable cause to proceed with the charge and set bond at $2,000 cash only. The judge also ordered Lee to have no contact with the alleged victims and scheduled a return court appearance for July 29.
