White Hall Man Arrested After Cocaine Found During Search

A $5,000 cash bond was set Friday for a White Hall man accused of carrying 3 rocks of cocaine in his back pocket.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge 66-year-old Ray Walpool with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine.

Reading from an affidavit by Pine Bluff Detective Darrell Johnson, Prosecuting Attorney S Kyle Hunter said on June 3rd, members of the Pine Bluff Vice and Narcotics Unit and Tri-County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on 5107 W. 14th Ave.

Upon entry, officers detained Walpool, who was inside the residence, along with several others.

A personal search was conducted, 3 white rock-like substances were located in his rear pocket suspected to be crack cocaine, as well as $660.

Walpool has no prior convictions and is scheduled to return to court.
