Pine Bluff Man Held on Terroristic Threatening Charge After Domestic Disturbance

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth found probable cause to hold a Pine Bluff man on a charge of first-degree terroristic threatening following a hearing this week.

According to testimony presented by prosecutors, Pine Bluff police responded to a residence on South Orange Street multiple times during the late-night hours of June 7 and early morning hours of June 8 in reference to domestic disturbances.

Authorities told the court that during one of the calls, a female caller reported that a male suspect had returned to the residence and was standing outside with what was described as a black object in his hand.

Prosecutors alleged that a resident of the home told officers that the suspect threatened everyone inside if the door was not opened. According to testimony, multiple individuals, including adults and a juvenile, were inside the residence at the time of the alleged threat.

The alleged suspect was identified in court as Khamuni McClain. Prosecutors said officers later located McClain at an address provided by witnesses and took him into custody.

The court found probable cause to charge McClain with first-degree terroristic threatneing and set bond at $4,000 secured. Prosecutors also requested no-contact orders involving the three alleged victims.
