On August 15, 2023, at approximately 5:50 P.M., homicide suspect, Julius Ford, was arrested in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Ford will be transported to W.C. Dub Brassell Detention Center and booked in for Capital Murder.

On August 12, 2023, around 11:15 A.M., Officers were dispatched to 2709 East Harding Avenue (Dollar Tree), in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and noticed a 30-year-old black male slumped over inside his vehicle. The victim had a gunshot wound to the right side of his face.
EASI Ambulance Service Inc., arrived and transported the victim, Ryan Wear (who still had a pulse) to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injury.
Detectives with Pine Bluff Police Department identified 22-year-old, Julius Ford, as the suspect in the murder.
