Dermott man arrested after traffic stop in Dumas

According to SEARK Daily, Desha County Arkansas Sheriff Mitch Grant last Sunday morning June 4th, at 12:30 a.m. Desha County Deputy Reshawn Bledsoe observed a suspicious vehicle pull behind the Dumas Seed Store.

Upon making contact with two individuals in the vehicle, and smelling the odor of Marijuana, Deputy Bledsoe removed the subjects from the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search.

Inside the vehicle, Deputy Bledsoe discovered a pill bottle, that the passenger, 45-year-old Calvin Plummer of Dermott Arkansas, claimed was his

Upon field testing of the pills, they were found to be Fentanyl. That was 76 Fentanyl pills that Plummer intended to sell in Desha County and poison our people according to a press release.

Plummer was arrested and transported to the Dumas Arkansas Jail, where he was booked for Possession of a Schedule I Controller Substance with the Purpose to Deliver.
