Just a few months after being acquired by Chicago based Wind Point Partners, Central Moloney President and CEO Chris Hart has announced the acquisition of a Canadian Company that also produces transformers.

Hart made the announcement on Oldies 1013 Friday morning.

In a letter to company shareholders, Hart said Central Moloney has “no intention of totally blending the two companies together. Their name will remain the same and hold the value of distinction they have earned. They will simply compliment us and vice versa.”

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Hart where does the acquisition of Cam Tran put Central Moloney in terms of the biggest transformer companies in the country.

Hart went on to say this.

He said that the company has gone from 2 plants to 12v and currently has 1,200 employees “and we’re not done.”
