Work is continuing on the hotel and event center at the Saracen Casino and on Friday, Saracen Chief Market Officer Carlton Saffa was asked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show.
Saffa said plans for the hotel reminded him of something the late Frank Broyles said when Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville was expanded for the first time. “we won’t be the biggest stadium in college football but our goal is to make it the nicest.”
Morning show host Greg Horne asked Saffa about the plans for bringing in acts for the event center and Saffa answered this way.
He said the sort of acts that people see at Simmons Bank arena in Little Rock are the sort of acts you can expect to see at Saracen.
