The Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Department is celebrating the arrival of its second new fire truck in a months’ time.
After receiving a conventional truck that is now in service at Station No. 2, Chief Shauwn Howell said the new ladder truck that was ordered two years ago has arrived.
Howell went on to say that there are limitations on trucks with ladders.
Howell was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and host Greg Horne said the city went a long period of time without a new fire truck and just because they have received two new trucks, it doesn’t solve the issue of needing more.
