A Pine Bluff woman arrested in March will have to post a $15,000 bond to be released from the adult detention center after Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled Thursday that prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with second-degree domestic battery.

The court hearing was conducted without the woman, Ruby Watson, 42, who jail personnel said was uncooperative and had “mental issues.”

Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander told the court the circumstances that led to Watson’s arrest.

Bridgforth appointed the Public Defender’s Office to represent Watson and she was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
