A $75,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of pointing a gun at his wife and threatening to shoot her.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Gary Green, 57, with aggravated assault on a family or household member, terroristic threatening and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said at 12:11 a.m. Sunday, police were sent to a residence on West 10th Avenue in response to a reported armed disturbance.

Carson said Green had a previous conviction for first-degree battery in 2002. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court April 15.
