A $75,000 bond was set Wednesday for a White Hall man who allegedly threatened his girlfriend and her son with a gun.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ellis Luckett, 34, with aggravated assault on a family or household member, endangering the welfare of a minor and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Sgt. Clayton Cantrell, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 7:50 p.m., police responded to a reported armed disturbance at a house on White Hall Avenue.

Akel said Luckett was convicted of domestic battery and two counts of aggravated assault in 2019.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court March 26.
