A $5,000 cash only bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of hiding evidence fom police following a domestic incident Sunday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Darron Green, 29, with tampering with evidence.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said the allegation against Darron Green was related to the case of Gary Green, who was seen in court previously.

Carson said Detective Smith continued to pursue Darron Green, first on foot, then in her police unit until she lost sight of him.

She said Darron Green was placed on probation on a charge of aggravated assault on August of last year and prosecutors will file a petition to revoke that probation. He was told to come back to court April 15.
