A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly used his vehicle to hit a vehicle belonging to his former girlfriend Thursday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Tquaoneon Mims, 33, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Reding from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 7:21 p.m., police were sent to 6720 Dollarway Road in response to a reported hit and run accident and were told to meet the victim at Wright’s Ranch House.

Akel said Mims has previous drug related convictions in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court March 15.
