A $50,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of injuring three police officers trying to arrest him.

Jefferson County District judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dalvin Carter, 31, with three counts of second-degree battery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said Monday evening, police were sent to St. John Apartments at 26th Avenue and Indiana Street where Carter’s ex-girlfriend said the two had gotten into an argument while she was holding her baby.

Carson said Carter is apparently on parole or if not, just got off parole. He was told to come back to court April 10.
